Jumpers and Jumpers Oh My!

I absolutely love love love jumpers. It is an easy quick way to pull a look together. You probably have already seen Tyra Banks rock a jumpsuit every day for her talk show. Even though I may not agree with all her choices...there have definitely been some fab choices.

Every one can wear jumpers, its just a matter of choosing the right one for your body type. I am going to break it down to make it simple and fun. Every one should own one this Fall. Rock them with your favorite pumps or booties.

Pear Shaped (smaller on top, fuller around hips and thighs)
This asymetric wide leg jumpsuit is perfect. The ruffles on top draw the attention to the smallest part of your body.  The wide leg pant slims and elongates the thigh and leg area.

 Wide shoulders and narrow hip
The belt sinches the waist and the pockets create an illusion of hips. The wider neckline draws the eye to the collar bone, de-empahising wider shoulders.

Petite (smaller frame and height)
This style adds height and umph to your strut. Pair this jumper with high heel colored pumps. The ankle leg makes the legs look longer and the added shoulders add even more dimension.

Tall and leggy
This jumper is meant to be worn loose fitting and drapey. Tall women can pull this style off because it wouldn't over power their already leggy stature. You can make this menswear inspired jumpsuit more feminine with a statement bracelet or earrings. Keep the neck bare.

Most importantly have fun with it. Have your girlfriend take your pic in the dressing room. Download your pix from your shopping excursion and take a good look. You'll easily be able to see what works and what doesn't.

Fall's Must Have : The Over the Knee Boot

I am so glad Fall is here.  This is by far my favorite fashion season.  This season is forcing us all to be really  creative, Recessionistas.  So more and more of us are mixing designer with bargain.
A great way to update you look this Fall is with the over the knee boot. I am obsessed with the low heel version.  This is an easy way to look modern and feel comfortable. Here are a few of my picks. Pair them with skinny jeans or leggings. Run your errands in style.

Chinese Laundry $99

Modern Vintage $450
